SINGING
LESSONS

Ready to understand

your voice, trust your ear

and sound like yourself?

How would

it feel

to fully own

how you sing?

You can hear it in your head,

but it doesn't come out that way (yet!).

The awesome news? Your voice is an instrument like any other, something you can get to know and develop in many ways! Once you understand how it works, it starts to feel more and more familiar, reliable, and yours.

Understand how your voice works

Trust your ear

Sound like you

Maybe you...

  • have been working on your technique independently, but something still feels missing and your voice doesn’t sound the way you want.

  • keep running into the same problems like always avoiding that high note, or struggling to find power without strain

  • notice that sometimes your voice feels scratchy and tired after a practice session or a rehearsal

  • feel you come out sounding choir-y when you're going for something way more pop, but you don't know how to change it!

  • are not sure what or how to practice in a way that actually works with a busy life

  • find yourself copying other singers and haven’t quite found your own way yet and  singing feels a bit flat.

  • Music’s is a big part of your life, but you haven’t really given your voice the same attention as your other instrument(s).

  • would love to add your own twist to a song, but it's sooo hard to break out of the way you've always done it!

  • tend to hold back when you sing in front of others.

In the lessons you'll learn to...

Understand your voice

Learn how your voice works and notice what a relaxed, easy sound feels like for you. What comes naturally to you? Where are your strengths, which vocal habits might be holding it back?

Expand what your voice can do

Registers, resonance, ease & power without strain. Your voice becomes more versatile, more reliable and starts to feel like something you can trust. You'll be surprised what your voice is capable of!

Grow as a musician

Musical understanding isn't just theory,  it's a combination of listening and doing. You develop a sense of rhythm, melody and harmony from a singer's perspective: through your body, your ears and visual understanding.

This helps you move more confidently through music, whether you're singing harmonies by ear, learning new songs, or finding your place in the music around you.

Sing in your style

Phrasing, melodic variation and improvisation help you make the song yours in a way that feels and sounds like you. Listening to other singers becomes a source of inspiration for your own choices, not a measuring stick.

Build trust & joy in your singing

Your voice starts to feel like a natural extension of you,  not a separate thing to manage. You show up to the musical situations that matter to you  feeling capable and at home.

Confidence in music isn't the kind that comes from being told you're good, but rather from

knowing what you like, going for it, and really enjoying what you do!

Let's get started!

Hi there!

I'm Heta, singer, voice teahcer & MMus. Music has always been a big part of my life, but even if I was singing a lot (choirgirl forever here!) and I played the classical flute for years, I felt somehow disconnected from the music I wanted to make with my voice.

Maybe you know the feeling: you love some type of music but you're not quite sure how to get into that world yourself (or whether you can even do it with your voice!) How do you actually develop your voice? What does "my own sound" even mean?

I have been SO lucky to have great teachers along the way who gave me so many tools. Slowly I started to understand that the voice isn't some mysterious thing, but an (amazing) instrument like any other. And that the things I'd wanted most (confidence and freedom in making music) don't actually come from talent or having a "good voice." They come from understanding how your voice works, training your ear, learning to make your own choices, with curiosity and a supportive enviroment.

These days, confidence for me doesn't mean someone saying "woooow that sounded amazing.", but rather knowing my voice, trusting my ear and trusting that my own perspective is awesome and ENOUGH! And if something isn't working yet, I believe I can find a way (even if it takes a while :)).

That's what I want to pass on as a teacher. I don't think the goal is to become a "finished" or "complete" singer (I'm certainly not one!), but rather that everyone can learn to understand their voice better, build their skills step by step and find their own way of feeling at home in the music they love. And honestly, that's the best thing (BOTH as a singer and a teacher)!!
