TERMS & CONDITIONS (Group Singing Lessons)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS for Group Singing Lessons

1. Formation and Validity of the Agreement

This agreement is made between the service provider, Heta Nykänen, and the customer, i.e., the student. The agreement is established once the customer has registered for the group course by signing up via email, in person, or using a registration form. By registering for the course, the customer has reviewed and accepted these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions are reviewed regularly, and any new terms will fully replace this agreement. This agreement is effective starting December 1, 2024. No changes to the agreement will be made during the course.

2. Service Content

A description of the group singing lessons can be found on the website www.hetanykanen.com. Each lesson is 60 minutes long.

3. Registration and Cancellation of Registration

Registration for group lessons follows the instructions on the website.

Registration is binding. After registering, the customer will receive an invoice for the reservation fee (for 2024-2025, the reservation fee is €75). The reservation fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

If the customer wishes to cancel their course participation, it must be done at least 7 days before the course starts. If cancellation occurs after this, 50% of the course fee will be charged. If no cancellation is made after the course has started, 100% of the course fee will be charged. Cancellation must be submitted in writing via email or message.

Interrupting the course does not entitle the customer to a refund. In cases of extended illness, the course may be canceled upon presentation of a medical certificate.

4. Absences

The course will take place on the pre-announced dates and will not be rescheduled. If the customer misses a group lesson, no refund or discount for the unused session will be given.

If the teacher cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled (typically on the same weekday and time following the last scheduled class). If the service provider is on long-term sick leave, a qualified substitute may be hired to complete the course.

5. Payment

The course reservation fee (€75) is paid upon registration and is part of the total course fee. The entire course fee or the first installment of the course fee must be paid in advance before the course begins. Payment can be made by invoice or with employee benefits (ePassi, Edenred, Smartum).

6. Termination of the Agreement

This agreement is valid for a fixed term until the end of each group course.

7. Jurisdiction Clause

Disputes arising from this agreement will be handled by the Consumer Disputes Board.
